North Dakota's "Enchanted Highway"

So last Thursday, we both had the day off together! We had been searching for things to do here in town. Darin had seen in a brochure about about the "Enchanted Highway" that isn't too far from Dickinson, so we loaded up the dogs and went for a drive. These are pretty neat metal Sculptures, the signs along the road said that these are the World's Largest sculptures. They have a gift shop at on of the stops as well, although we decided not to go in, we thought we would leave that for when someone comes to visit and we get to go again and see them. We were amazed at the detail and the colors of each of these. Very fun!! Here are a few pics. Enjoy!

Geese in Flight This sculpture is just off the interstate and the road leading up to it, has poles with different geese on them. All in different flight patterns.

Deer Crossing

Grasshoppers in the field Notice the wheat laying down, looks like this was set up this way! This site had a little playground off to the side and it had small grasshopper bouncer things. Ya know, grasshoppers with the coil, springs under them! (SORRY, I have no idea what they are called)

Fisherman's Dream In case you can't see it, there is a tied Fly that the large fish is coming up to catch.

Teddy rides again Darin loved the horse and buggy with this one.

The Tin Family There are flowers in Tin Ma's basket, and notice her hair, all curled up. Tin Pa also has hair. And then there's lil Tin, with the Lollipop and propeller hat. So cute!

This wire tree sits right next to the Gift Shop.
We had a fun enjoyable day! Who knew that North Dakota had an "Enchanted Highway"????
