First day of School and the boys were lost!

Wednesday couldn't come fast enough for this new Fifth grader! So excited she could barely sleep the night before, but alas, the moment she had been waiting for, Jo went into the bedroom where she had been tossing and turning and said OK, Kellee you can get up and get ready. In record time, (I'm not kidding) this girl was on the move, breakfast down, teeth brushed, and all dressed. Doing her hair felt like forever to her. Then she had to wait, she'd moved so fast! We all walked her to the bus stop and told her to have a good day! She was on her way! Then it was a short walk back to the house and what to do, what to do with the boys. Emilio still isn't to excited about starting next week, so it's gonna be tough keeping him busy and occupied and gearing him up, but we shall soldier on! Jo was able to keep the boys plenty busy, or was it the other way around, it's hard to tell. We had appointments and errands to run in the morning, and studying and cooking to do in the afternoon. That's right at only 6 yrs old and with the help of a 19 month old Emilio made his first whole dinner! He made Chicken and Rice Casserole, Green beans, and breadsticks with some Sugar Free Lemonade (compliments of Grandma Noe in Iowa). For dessert he chose Chocolate Cupcakes which Korbin and him had a blast making, frosting and decorating! And before we knew it, we were picking Kellee up from the bus stop where she was beaming with pride! Her first day of Fifth grade was a success, and much to her surprise, she had NO HOMEWORK!!! She's going for the Skater look this year!
So ready, why isn't it time yet?

Mixin up the brownies, yes they both needed to be hosed down afterward.

The wonderful dinner they were both so proud of, dang Jo for forgetting to set the Lemonade pitcher on the table with the food, but Emilio was proud of it all! I hear it was VERY tasty boys!

And a picture of a very small portion of the mess on this lil face. If you look close you can see the Chocolate on the forehead as well. He was covered from the waist up, I should have thought of snapping the picture before I started cleaning. SORRY!
